Horrible service from the large jugged middle aged blonde (and I was friendly)! 50 cent wings wer OK....2.5/5 - I would get em again if I was drunk. The server literally avoided me the whole time. On a high note, the ranch was good. Wont be back.

My date and I and a friend stumbled upon this place when were were in Pawleys Island for a wedding. We didn't go in expecting much in the way of a great time, we were really just looking for some cheap, quick food before the wedding. Boy were we wrong. This place is amazing. Although it was sort of empty because we came later in the day the owner, Anthony, was one of the nicest, most attentive people I met in the state of South Carolina. There were excellent beer recommendations (if you've never had a Railhouse FCA IPA, try it ASAP) and selections and the food was absolutely within shouting distance in terms of taste of the meal I had dropped 100 dollars for in Charleston the night before, for a fraction of the price. The bar itself had a very nice, charming feel about it and it was apparent that it would make a great place to hang out to watch some football or participate in some karaoke (or corn hole, if that's more your speed). If I ever come back to Pawleys Island, I am definitely going to swing by again. PS: Don't forget to try an applesauce shot...or three.

Found this gem first night of a 7 day golf outing. The owner Anthony & staff made is feel at home. Best shrimp, fish, hamburgers we had. It's a sport bar but a very family friendly place for kids. If your looking for casual, good food, good drinks, all reasonably priced, don't pass this place up.

My family and I had lunch today at the Island Bar & Grill. I had the wings, my wife had the Shrimp Po Boy, my daughter had the Philly Cheese Steak and my son had the Gyro. The food was absolutely fantastic. The homemade chips are to die for. The owner is super friendly and gave us the history of the Bar & Grill. We have a condo in True Blue and have been coming down to Pawleys for nearly 10 years. This was our first trip to the restaurant and would recommend it to anyone.

We are locals here in Pawleys. This place is great. Drinks are always flowing. Open late! The food is very good. Almost everything is made fresh. They use only Top Quality Beef in their Bugers that is why everyone raves about them. My favorites are the Chicken Wings. They are the Best Wings in Pawleys Island. Pool Table upstairs.

Cute, tucked away bar. Nice outdoor deck with a band. Loved the fried pickles and bloody marys.

The Hubs & I were looking for a dog friendly restaurant with good eats on a day trip to Myrtle. It was Super Bowl Sunday. The atmosphere was cozy and fun. We were waited on by Miss Lauren she was delightful, attentive and accommodating to both of us and our Rhodesian Ridgeback Ziggy. We also met the Owner Anthony. They made the patio a warm (heated), welcoming and pleasurable dinner experience. The burgers were fresh, juicy and flavorful. The hand cut fries were perfection. We will surely return when we are in Town. We give it four YUMMS Up!

This is a great local sports bar that serves food. If you like great hamburgers and fries, or wings, and a beer while watching just about any national sports team play on a Saturday or Sunday, this is the place. I go here to watch the Giants play and play shuffle board and pool. The place is open until about 2:00 AM

We dropped in on the way to Myrtle Beach and were we glad. The drinks were strong, the beer was cold and good. Then we tried the food. A normal burger was transformed into a wonderment. The hand cut fries and chips are truly delicious. I had an oyster po-boy that was cooked right and the remoulade had the correct zip for the sandwich. This is bar food done correctly. Duane was cooking and he did us right.

Food is ok, the wings are good, especially the boneless. The burgers are also good. It's definitely a bar that serves food. It can get smokey and pretty loud in the dining room. The patio is nice but also typically a little loud when live music being played. Large selection of drinks and beer make the bar a great place to hang out. If you keep to the simple food items on the menu you will be happy. Service can also be a little slow. We waited over an hour and a half the last time for our food, luckily the wings are worth it!

Open late night with solid service. After landing later than expected we were just happy to have somewhere to eat. We ordered fries, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks with two mixed drinks. The food was ok-- better than your average late-night menu but nothing worth shouting about. The friendly server made for a good dining experience. If you're hungry after 11PM try Island Bar & Grill.

Met the owner , Anthony, having dinner at another place last night. He invited us to his place Island Bar & Grill. After golf, the family decided to check it out. Pleasantly surprised. Even my MIL 88 years old enjoyed it. Great band (Paperwork). We all sat out on the deck and ordered appetizers and drinks. A few bucks later and a good buzz we enjoyed the night and will definitely come back. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced and good food. Good service too.

Fun little bar with great outdoor area to sit and enjoy a few drinks. I've never eaten here, but I'd like to give it a try next time I'm in the area.

Even if a place is not busy and there are a handful of customers in, for F's sake at least speak and be cordial. I'm in PI for a job interview and decided to hit the happy hour. WORST wait staff EVER. Tennille is her name. God awful. No conversation, no attention. Asked was there anything else in PI. " I don't know." Well alrighty then. I won't ask shit else. Nor will I come here ever again.

Service was terrible, atmosphere would be great if it wasn't for the horrible waitresses. I'm surprised they have any good reviews.

The food here was great. My friend and I shared the Caribbean spring rolls for appetizer, spicy but I loved them and couldn't stop eating them! Then for my meal I had the blackened grouper wrap and she had the grilled grouper bites with sweet potato fries. We loved it! The drinks are very reasonably priced. Sex on the beach was $5, and they had shots varying from $2-5. They also had live entertainment while we were there which we enjoyed.

Patio atmosphere was great. Food was good. Service was possibly the worst I've ever had. Our waitress was inattentive and unfriendly. She did not exchange any words or pleasantries with our table of six. We had to go inside to see the bar menu, had to ask multiple times for drink refills, silverware, and condiments, and waited far too long for our food. It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable meal for us. I would rather have served myself than feel like we were inconveniencing our waitress. We only came here because Pawleys Island Tavern is closed on Mondays; a mistake we will not make next time.

Great atmosphere. Very laid back. Typical bar food...good hamburgers. Food was slow, but the service was great.

Wish I could give negative stars. This, unfortunately, was the worst restaurant experience of my life. Our server, Teresa, was very nice, but we had to wait for 2 hours to get the wrong meals. The owner refused to talk to me about the issues that we had throughout the night. Don't understand all of the great reviews. Why did they put shrimp with tails on a sandwich? Why did customers have to serve themselves at the bar? Why did so many tables have to ask the manager where their food was? Why was there water dripping from the ceiling? And finally where were our utensils when we were eating our food?

I really can't say enough about this place. Every time we visit the beach, we go out of our way by 30 minutes or more to go here. They are a local favorite and they have great food. Located right next to a collection of specialty shops and across the the street from the renowned Hammock shops. For our appetizer we started out with pimento cheese, chow chow and crackers. Entrees included shrimp and grits, and a unique grilled platter with scallops, lobster and shrimp. A fantastic meal! Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a welcome party for our wedding guests here. Anthony (owner) was very easy to work with and made the event a breeze to plan. His outdoor area was plenty of room for our 80 guests, his staff was very professional and pleasant. The food was top notch even for "bar food". Everything about his establishment and staff was above and beyond our expectations. If you are considering having an event or get together, DO NOT HESITATE, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

Great food and fabulous service. Was met at the door by the owner, Anthony who was very friendly. Would recommend the grilled grouper sandwich, outstanding and nice size portion. Will be definitely returning!!

Longtime second home residents of Litchfield and this was our first visit to IB&G and we were very pleased, will definitely be back. The special, blackened grouper and pasta, was excellent, and at the table we also had shrimp quesadilla and a hamburger. Each dish was tasty and the service was great. We met Anthony, the owner, who went out of his way to spend time with us and establish a relationship. And although we ate inside due to the heat, the outside sitting area looked great for food and live entertainment. We will be back!

This is your average Low Country bar and grille and not bad at all. Opens at 11 on Sundays, typical Low Country fare, friendly help and indoor and outdoor seating so you can smoke outside if you wish. Located adjacent to the original Hammock Shops at Pawley's, left rear corner, it features about what you'd expect - fried stuff, burgers and whatnot and it's not bad for a late breakfast/brunch stop. Apparently hippies are not all that welcomed, Haha! (see photos).

My husband ordered 3 different flavors of wings and I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp wrap. We thoroughly enjoyed our food! Carrie served us and was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return if we're back in the area!

My mom and I were a little skeptical when this place appeared better suited for a Saturday night filled with burgers and beers than a Sunday afternoon lunch, but we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and quick service. We both ordered the chicken salad wrap (the owner's grandmother's recipe) and seasoned French fries and all were fabulous. Would highly recommend!

This place was awesome. Visited on a whim and fell in love. Open area was great with live music. Waiter was very friendly and so was staff. Call ahead of it is a weekend in the summer, we had about 15 min wait for a seat bug not bad for a holiday weekend. Only gave it 4 stars b/c we didn't eat here just stopped for music and drinks but we will definitely go back again. It must be good as it was mostly locals.

Look no further for a delicious grilled gouper sandwich! A spicy remoulade accompanies it on the side for an extra kick. I would also recommend the sweet potato fries. I had a long Island Iced tea as well and it too was very good. Can't wait to enjoy some meals on the patio!

Driving around Pawley's Island we came across Island Bar and Grill. Sat in the back patio, as a lot of people were watching football on several TV's. The attentive waitress acknowledged us right away. She was very pleasant, and took the time to recommend a local brew, even though the place kept filling up she was extremely efficient, checking back with us a few times. Homemade sliders and quesadilla were exactly what we expected, maybe a different kind of bread on the sliders (not the stuff out of a bag) would be better. When back in the area I would go back.

Great food. The sweet potato fries were amazing! Nice staff, helpful but not hovering. Looks like a good outdoor seating area, but it was too cold when we were there. Seems like a local hangout, but we were not unwelcome in any way. We would go there again.

Great food and service! The She Crab Soup is beyond compare. The Pimento Cheese was a delicious treat as well. We enjoyed it so much we are stopping by for dinner again this evening. Don't miss this place while in Pawley's Island! You will not be disappointed.

Awesome service! We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop here to eat. I had the island club and really liked it. My family got burgers and everyone was really happy. Kim was our waitress and she was really nice. Definitely stop here if you want good reasonably priced food.

I've been living in Pawleys for a month now and drive by here on my way to and from work. I decided to stop in and see what the place offered. I sat at the bar and had the opportunity to meet the owner. He made several recommendations and gave me a quick tour of the place. I kept it simple and ordered a dozen wings (The cheesi hotti are incredible!) and the grouper bites appetizer. The grouper was cooked perfectly and the Cajun remoulade was the perfect pair! They have a great selection of drinks and the owner even gave me a "free drink" chip. Definitely a new favorite for my time here for work!
